Relaxing, tranquil surroundings...
The Island guest house is set in the very private and beautiful
Hekerua Valley. A three minute walk takes you down through the native
forest to Hekerua Bay, and a walk around the headland to Sandy Bay
will give you stunning views of coastal Waiheke, over to the Peninsula
Vineyard and beyond to the outer Gulf islands.

Tour one or all five of the Waiheke Island vineyards. Why not
have lunch over a glass of wine at one of the vineyard cafés

From specialist restaurants such as the Mudbrick Vineyard and
Restaurant to local cafés, there is something to suit every
taste. |

Boat charters and fishing:
Charter a boat to go fishing or spend a lazy day cruising the

Biking, kayaking and
horse riding:
Tour the island on horseback or hire a mountain bike and travel
at your own pace. For a different view of the island why not
take a tour by kayak and view the island from the sea |

Walks:
Take a coastal walk close to the Guest house, for the more adventurous,
hire a rental car,take lunch and a map and make your own way
around the Island. Visit Stony Batter (an old army installation)
and tour the underground tunnels, be sure to take a torch! Alternatively
just enjoy the fantastic views as you explore the island. |

Experience the Saturday morning market, a colourful collection
of stalls selling local crafts and produce, or visit one of
the many artists studios on the island. |
